Jimmy's first OB class!

Today I took Jimmy to class with his mom. He mostly waited patiently (chewing on a tendon) but something caught his eye.

Here is Jimmy watching the 'big' dogs fetch the dumbbell.

He was not afraid of any of the dogs and they were mostly really big. But then he has already done obedience (in utero) and both his mom and dad are pretty gutsy.

We started learning a bit of heeling and here he is with a GSD and Zoe, his grandmother.

Below is a little video of his 'come.' Yes, he is brilliant just like his grandfather, Oliver. (The "stop it" at the end was to tell Cindi to stop the video. Sorry Cindi - that sounded pretty harsh.)

Kimberton 2008

I just heard (and hope it is correct) that a club has stepped up to sponsor the performance next year back in Kimberton. The word is the Kerry Blue club is doing the honors. I hope that all of us who are planning to attend and compete will also lend a hand to help make it a success. I just found a yahoo group called Obedience Terriers. The information I got came from someone on that list. I have made application to join, so will let everyone know as I learn more.

THE WIZARD OF OZ...

...what a fun night. Several of us went to watch our friend Happy in the Wizard of Oz. He did such a terrific job! Vicki, Pat, Cindy, Sharon, Rachel and I went to dinner and then to the high school production of the classic. Happy is Betsy's dog. They are some of the original NW paws group. Anyway, this production was top notch. Happy was on stage a lot and he was awesome. Dorothy did an amazing job handling him and all of the actors were so good with him. It was fun and just another way this crazy bunch supports one another as we do things with our dogs!

Oh by the way...Kona had another qualifying score in rally! Yeah. He is so happy doing stuff I ask him to do.
